Towing

If you passed your driving test after 1996 then you may not be licenced to!

In order to obtain the qualification you'll have to pass a special DSA driving test – the GOOD news is that we can help you!

Since passing your 'L' test, you've gained experience and, maybe, picked up a few bad habits! We can help you sort it all out, improve your driving standards, give you the knowledge and skills you need to pass the B+E test, and have fun in the process!

The Test
As well as the need to display a high standard of driving, the test will require you to show your ability to uncouple & recouple the trailer safely and efficiently, carry out a reverse manoeuvre around an obstacle and into a restricted bay, carry out a controlled stop from 20mph and demonstrate your knowledge of preparation & maintenance in a Q & A session.

Although you may be able to use your own vehicle, we strongly suggest that you use our outfit for your training and test as it fully complies with the test requirements and is easy to handle, even for those with little or no towing experience.
